West Coast Railway Line to Remain Closed Until March

The main west coast train line between Scotland and England will remain closed for at least a month longer than originally planned.

The route has been shut since Storm Frank caused damage to the Lamington Viaduct near Abington on 31st December 2015.

Originally due to reopen on 1st February 2016, engineers have said repairs will take more time than originally thought.
