Mondrian Hotel Ready for September Opening

London’s latest luxury hotel is ready to open on the 30th September 2014, with the completion of the Mondrian hotel.

The hotel is a conversion from the old Sea Containers building, which were also the old offices of Orient-Express/Belmond. The Mondrian hotel is a short walk along the Thames from the Tate Modern and the theatres of the South Bank.

Mondrian London at Sea Containers is being developed by Morgans Hotel Group and is its first Mondrian-branded property outside of the US. The hotel has opened for reservations and special rates include a preview deal of £165 per night (other rates start at £195 per night) for a limited time.

Mondrian London will have a bar called Dandelyan, headed up by cocktail expert Ryan Chetiyawardana, a rooftop bar and a restaurant by New York chef Seamus Mullen, including terrace dining. The hotel will also house the Agua Bathhouse & Spa, featuring, Estelle & Thild, GlamGlow Mud, Natura Bisse and Ciate for treatments.
