Rail Disruption – 28.10.13

Heavy rain and high winds across central and southern England and Wales are affecting train services today, Monday, 28th October 2013. Some trains are delayed or cancelled and some operators are running amended timetables.

The following train operators are affected Arriva Trains Wales, c2c, Chiltern Railways, East Coast, East Midlands Trains, First Capital Connect, First Great Western, First Hull Trains, First TransPennine Express, Grand Central, Greater Anglia, Heathrow Connect, Heathrow Express, London Midland, London Overground, Northern Rail, South West Trains, Southeastern, Southern, Stansted Express, Virgin Trains.

Travellers are advised to allow extra time to reach the station and allow extra time for connecting trains, as road conditions are expected to be hazardous.

All Eurostar services are running but may experience delays dues to speed restrictions as a result of the severe weather.
